About the course

The course has been designed to offer a comprehensive understanding of distributed generation across three themes:

  • The Fundamentals of Distributed Generation
  • The Connection of Distributed Generation
  • The Challenges of Distributed Generation

Through a combination of technical information and real-world case studies, you will study a large range of topics, from induction generators to power electronics, protection, and standards. Standards covered include G5/5, Changes to the standard G5/4 – G5/5, IEC60909 and G74.

The course is delivered by experts in the field including senior consultants from the industry as well as academia, and attending the course will give you the opportunity to ask them questions and learn from them.

By attending, you will not only increase your knowledge in the principles and practices of distributed generation, you will also have the chance to take advantage of the CPD hours attached to this course.
